Privacy Policy and Notice at Collection

This policy explains what information Contractor Quote collects, why we collect it, how we may disclose it, and the choices available to you. This service is intended for adults in the United States.

1. Information we collect

We may collect the following categories of personal information directly from you:

• Identifiers and contact details, such as your name, email address, phone number, and ZIP code.
• Project information, such as the service requested, timing, and your relationship to the property.
• Consent records, including the disclosures presented, choices made, date, and request reference.
• Communications and privacy requests you submit.
• Basic device, usage, security, and diagnostic information generated when you use the site.

Please do not submit sensitive personal information, payment-card information, government identifiers, medical information, or confidential documents through the quote form.

2. Why we use information

We may use personal information to receive and review your request; identify potential service matches; share a consented request with independent professionals; communicate about the request; operate, secure, debug, and improve the service; prevent fraud or abuse; comply with law; and honor privacy choices.

3. AI-assisted processing

We may use AI-assisted tools to categorize requests, summarize project details, detect spam or abuse, and support matching and customer-service workflows. AI output may be inaccurate and is subject to review. We do not use the quote form to make credit, insurance, employment, legal, or other high-impact eligibility decisions. See the AI Disclosure.

4. How we disclose information

With the consent shown at submission, we may disclose your contact and project details to up to three independent home-service professionals for the specific request. We may also disclose information to vendors that host, secure, analyze, or support the service under contractual restrictions; professional advisers; authorities when legally required; and a successor in a merger, financing, acquisition, or sale.

Independent professionals have their own privacy practices. Review their policies before providing additional information. We do not authorize them through our required service-request checkbox to use prerecorded or artificial-voice marketing calls.

5. Retention and security

We retain information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes above, including request handling, consent records, dispute resolution, security, and legal obligations. Retention periods may vary by record type. We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards, but no system is completely secure.

6. Your choices and rights

You may ask to access, correct, or delete certain information, or opt out of certain sharing or marketing where applicable. Some U.S. states provide additional rights, subject to exceptions and verification. We will not unlawfully discriminate against you for exercising a privacy right. 7. Marketing communications

Optional marketing consent is separate from the request consent and is not required to submit a request or purchase. You may reply STOP to marketing texts and use any unsubscribe mechanism in marketing email. Transactional or request-related messages may continue where permitted.

8. Children

This service is not directed to children under 18, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information through the quote form.

9. Changes and contact

We may update this policy and will post the revised date. Because this private review build does not yet have a finalized operating entity or mailing address, those details must be added before public launch. Until then, use Your Privacy Choices to contact the privacy team.
