Contractor Quote uses limited AI-assisted tools to help operate the request marketplace. This page explains those uses and their limits in plain language.

Where AI may help

• Detecting suspected spam, duplicate requests, abuse, or incomplete information.
• Supporting potential geographic or service-category matching.

Important limits

AI systems can misunderstand information, omit context, or produce incorrect results. An AI-generated category, summary, or potential match is not a recommendation or guarantee. Contractor Quote does not use quote-form AI to decide your eligibility for credit, insurance, employment, housing, legal rights, or another high-impact benefit.

No professional advice

AI output is not construction, engineering, safety, legal, financial, or other professional advice. Do not rely on it to diagnose hazards, price work, confirm code compliance, or select a contractor. For urgent hazards or emergencies, contact the appropriate emergency service or qualified professional directly.

Information handling

Information processed by AI-assisted tools remains subject to our Privacy Policy. Do not provide sensitive personal information, passwords, payment-card data, government identifiers, medical information, or confidential documents in the quote form.

Human review and questions

People may review requests, flags, and summaries. You may ask for correction of personal information or raise a concern through Your Privacy Choices. The availability of human review may depend on the request and applicable law.
